👑 The Master Behind Uji® Academy

Master Coach Uji is the pioneer and heart of Uji® Academy. Her love for sewing was shaped by her mother — lovingly known as Mak Nyah — a Master Advisor and celebrated tailor who ran a renowned dressmaking institute in Kota Sarang Semut, Kedah since 1965.

At just 19 years old in 1986, Master Coach Uji began teaching — driven by a deep calling to share the heritage knowledge inherited from Mak Nyah. Three years later, she founded Uji® Fesyen Boutique in 1989, turning a lifelong passion into a legacy institution.

Today, with over 40 years of teaching experience, she continues to inspire students across Malaysia — carrying forward a sewing heritage spanning more than six decades.
