Our Story | Uji® Fesyen Since 1989

Three Generations · Boutique Since 1989

Malaysian Craft, Passed Forward.

Uji® Fesyen is a family fashion house shaped by generations of sewing knowledge and a belief that good clothing begins with understanding the person who wears it.

1965

Family dressmaking knowledge takes root through Mak Nyah’s teaching and tailoring practice in Kedah.

1989

Uji® Fesyen Boutique is established, bringing inherited craft into a dedicated fashion business.

Today

The craft continues through ready-to-wear, bespoke, batik, corporate dressing and Uji® Academy.

The Uji® Approach

Fit is part of the design.

Across decades of dressing Malaysian women, Uji® has developed a deep practical understanding of proportion, comfort and silhouette. This knowledge informs the way we cut Kurung, Kebaya, dresses, jackets and contemporary modest pieces — with the intention that a garment should not only look refined, but feel natural to wear.

Today, the same discipline is carried into limited ready-to-wear under THE UJI EDIT™ and UJI ONE™, personal commissions through THE UJI® ATELIER, Made For You™ batik pieces, corporate projects and craft education.
